RootsRated to visit 40+ cities and retailers to inspire people to get outside and explore.

Chattanooga, Tenn. (May 4, 2015) – RootsRated.com, the premier online and mobile resource for “where to go outdoors,” announces the launch of their first annual RootsRated Road Tour. RootsRated will visit 40+ cities and outdoor retailers across the country during the next five months. The RootsRated Road Tour seeks to connect with and inspire outdoor enthusiasts to get out and explore the best of their local outdoor lifestyle.

Throughout the RootsRated Road Tour, team members Jake Wheeler and Ry Glover will play co-host to local Pint Nights at outdoor retailers and Meet-Up events to inspire and create community. The Road Tour will be full of early mornings, late nights, and sunrise trail runs. “The tour is an opportunity for people to get involved in their local outdoor scene and learn more about the RootsRated resource,” said RootRated Road Tour Manager Jake Wheeler.

RootsRated.com, founded in 2012, makes the outdoor discovery process easy by connecting users with the best outdoor experiences, hand-picked by outdoor retailers and their networks of local experts. By tapping local insights and knowledge about the best trails, runs, routes, crags, and waterways, RootsRated.com makes outdoor discovery simple, trustworthy and inspiring.

All Road Tour events are free to attend and will benefit local conservation groups. Every stop will consist of an outdoor Meet-Up event and a RootsRated Pint Night with live music. A $5 donation gets you your first beer, in a RootsRated pint glass, and all proceeds benefit local conservation efforts.
