The unbeaten ultra runner gets the win in Germany to secure a spot in Kona
Ruegen, Germany (September 27, 2016)--currexSole athlete Alice Hector took her first Ironman 70.3 title this month in Reugen, Germany. Alice won the race leading from the front to secure the win by over 6 minutes and secured a position on the start line at the Kona Ironman World Championships this October. A former undefeated ultra marathoner, Alice took to triathlon in 2013. The win in Germany comes after a difficult 2015 season where she faced a big DNF and questioning her place in the sport. Alice’s worlds after this victory were a well deserved, “Finally!”
