Camber Outdoors Announces Recipients of the 2016 Pioneering Woman and First Ascent Awards for the Bicycle Industry
Winners to be Recognized at the Camber Outdoors Keynote and Leadership Awards at the Interbike on September 21

BOULDER, Colo., - Sept 12, 2016 — Today, Camber Outdoors, formerly the Outdoor Industries Women’s Coalition (OIWC), announced winners of its 2016 Bicycle Leadership Awards Sponsored by Bicycle Retailer And Industry News (BRAIN). Stella Yu, Founder & GM of Velo Saddles, will receive the Pioneering Woman Award and Katie Thompson, Industrial Design Manager at Quality Bike Products (QBP) will receive the First Ascent Award. Both awards will be presented at the Camber Outdoors Keynote and Leadership Awards on Wednesday, September 21 at the 2016 Interbike International Expo.

The Pioneering Woman and First Ascent awards were created to honor women who have made significant achievements in the bicycle industry while working toward greater diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Nominated by their peers, recipients represent the present and future generations of innovative leaders in the industry.
