tasc Performance Ranks No. 2446 on the 2016 Inc. 5000 of America’s fastest growing private companies with three-year sales growth of 146%

New Orleans, LA, September 8, 2016 – For the second year in a row, tasc Performance, a leader in bamboo based performance lifestyle apparel, appears on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing companies in the U.S. This exclusive list, now in its 35th year, represents the most comprehensive look at the entrepreneurial segment in the U.S., which has included the likes of Yelp, Pandora, Timberland, Dell, and LinkedIn. As a family-owned company that began in 2009 with a mission to reinvent performance apparel through the use of original patent pending fabrics, such as their the BamCo® bamboo-based fabric, tasc has established itself across outdoor, running and golf markets as a growing and reputable apparel player.

“We are honored to be included in this prestigious listing amongst others that are working to change the business landscape in the U.S.,” said tasc co-Founder and President, Todd Andrews. “We are heavily focused on growing tasc, both through wholesale partners and e-commerce, and while we are charging hard to gain more exposure and presence within retail and through our influencers, it is milestones like these that remind us as company to appreciate how far we have come in the last 8 years.”

Since 2009, tasc Performance has dedicated itself to perfecting their proprietary fabrics, which blend viscose from bamboo with materials such as organic cotton and merino wool, to create apparel that performs naturally without chemicals. Ranging from lifestyle to outdoor to run and golf, tasc has gained popularity in the sports and outdoors industry because of the high degree of odor resistance and moisture wicking and incredible softness of the fabric. Most notably, tasc ambassador Melissa Arnot wore her tasc bamboo-merino blend base layer as she summited Everest for the 6th time, and without supplemental oxygen breaking her own world record for the most Everest summits by an American woman. Melissa attributes the high warmth-to-weight ratio and the excellent moisture wicking to the comfort she experiences when wearing tasc on her expeditions.

The Inc. 5000 list contains some familiar names, such as Ipsy (no. 104), Dollar Shave Club (No. 65), Suja Juice and OrangeTheory Fitness. The collection of companies has achieved an impressive median growth rate of 1,580.5 percent over the past three years and created a total of 55,704 jobs. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000 and will be showcased in the September Inc. magazine, available on newsstands starting August 23, 2016.
