Hydro Flask and Partners Look to Stop Lukewarm at Summer Outdoor Retailer

Bend, OR (August 4, 2014) – Hydro Flask—the award-winning leader in high-performance, insulated stainless steel flasks—is challenging Summer Outdoor Retailer Show attendees to partake in a show floor scavenger hunt that shuns lukewarm beverages and tepid life experiences. Together with partner brands, KEEN, GoPro, Black Diamond Equipment, Big Agnes, and Prana, participants are tasked with joining Hydro Flask in a mission to save the world from lukewarm.

Hydro Flask products are known for keeping hot liquids piping hot and cold liquids icy cold, helping users avoid the dreaded lukewarm sip that can take a good adventure downhill fast. The company chose to partner with brands that also embody a desire for well-beyond-average and un-status quo experiences. Collectively, Hydro Flask and friends aren’t only inviting participants to enjoy the benefits of its products, but also challenging them to seek out those brands—and brand experiences—that take enjoyment to the next level.

The Details: To enter the Outdoor Retailer scavenger hunt, participants must visit the partnering brands’ booth and post an image to Instagram, coupled with specific tags and hashtags, to show that they have completed the missions successfully. They must then return to the Hydro Flask booth (10037) and prove that they have completed three missions before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8th. Those who do will walk away with their own 32-oz. Hydro Flask (limited quantities available), plus a chance to win prizes from participating brands during Hydro Flask’s happy hour (Friday, August 8th, 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.). Participants who complete all five challenges double their chances of winning, and all must be present during happy hour to win.
