President and CEO of Pinneco Research Limited Speaks at The Redress Forum 2014

HONG KONG, 14 January, 2014 – Anderson Lee, President and CEO of Pinneco Research Limited was invited to speak at the Redress Forum 2014 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, taking place alongside with the EcoChic Design Awards 2013 Grand Final and Hong Kong Fashion Week.

The Redress Forum is a two-day seminar based in Hong Kong, which focuses on discussion revolving around the future of the fashion industry. Organized by Redress, the forum was sponsored by Create Hong Kong, in partnership with Hong Kong Trade and Development Council.

Day One of The Redress Forum 2014 was a designer challenge with Miele, and day two of the event was a full-day seminar of panel discussion and workshops. Lee was invited to speak under the panel discussion topic of "Sustainability from East to West: How can we better exchange ideas, experiences and knowledge between the regions?"

Other speakers for this panel topic discussion includes Felix Chung Kwok Pan, Member of Legislative Council (Textiles and Garment Functional Constituency) and Rebecca Earley, Professor in Sustainable Textile and Fashion Design, Textile Environmental Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design, University of the Arts London. Together with Lee, Chung and Earley engaged in discussions highlighting the main sustainability challenges facing the industries in the regions and business opportunities that could arise for collaboration across regions.

Lee exclaimed "it is important that correct education of sustainability is incorporated into culture and not introduced as an option. It is necessary to create a platform for knowledge and ideas exchange so we can better engage mankind in this mindset of living - collaborating sustainably is the only way forward."
