President and CEO of Pinneco Research Limited Speaks at the Global Fashion Management (M.A.) Programme

HONG KONG, 4 November 2013 – Anderson Lee, President and CEO of Pinneco Research Limited, was invited to be a guest lecturer at the Global Fashion Management (M.A.) Programme at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University on November 4th, 2013.

The GFM program has an international faculty with industry-focused lectures, with a global vision that is further enhanced with intensive seminars by industry leaders, visits and case studies in New York, Paris, and Hong Kong.

Lee was invited as a guest lecturer for the Global Fashion Management Programme, recognised for being not only an industry leader, but also a true leading figure of sustainability in the textiles industry in Hong Kong. Lee shared with students the topic of "Sustainable Collaboration," in which he expressed that collaboration, not only within the same industry sector or within the supply chain, but cross collaboration between different industries and the sharing of knowledge is a must to advance the textiles industry. "Collaboration is the only way forward," exclaimed Lee, "in which we must collaborate sustainably, to ensure that the collaboration efforts of today are not wasted tomorrow."

About The Global Fashion Management (M.A.) Programme

This program is an unique international postgraduate degree in fashion business, is a collaboration among prominent fashion schools of the three continents: Institute of Textiles and Clothing of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Hong Kong, Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and Institut Francais de la Mode in Paris. It is a mixed-mode programme with a credit requirement of 30 credits. There are two specialisms for selection: Fashion Merchandising and Global Fashion Management. Prospective students applying for admission should have undergraduate majors in textiles and fashion (clothing), textile-related management disciplines, or sufficient study work in the design, business and engineering to readily understand the fundamental concepts of merchandising and marketing management.
