Atomic adjusts sales representation lineup

Barry Zamzow and Doug Nunn bring years of success and expertise to Alaska

Ogden, UT—May 19, 2015—Atomic is pleased to announce sales representative Barry Zamzow will be covering the state of Alaska for Atomic alpine hardgoods and softgoods sales. In addition, Doug and Leigh Nunn of In Outdoor will expand their Northwest reach to Alaska for Atomic Nordic hardgoods.

Zamzow has worked in the ski industry since the late 1980s, handling retail and customer service positions before becoming an Atomic sales assistant in 1997. He became the lead Atomic sales rep for the Northwest territory, which included Oregon, Washington, Northern Idaho and Alaska in 2004. In 2007, Montana was added to his territory. Two years ago, a sales restructuring allocated Alaska to another rep, during which time Zamzow says he greatly missed covering “The Last Frontier.”

“I’m really happy to be working in Alaska with the Atomic brand,” says Zamzow. “It’s a natural fit with my work in the Northwest. I look forward to spreading the good word from Atomic and seeing what we can do to grow the brand.”

Mike Adams, Amer Sports winter and outdoor vice president of winter sports equipment says, “Barry and Doug bring a wealth of sales experience to the table. It’s great that they’ll be able to easily transition back into a part of the United States that is so important to the Atomic brand.”

Doug Nunn and his In Outdoor team have been servicing Washington and Oregon for Atomic Nordic for the past three years. He’s excited for his team to add Alaska to their Northwest region.

Nunn says, “Alaska has always been important to us as skiers and sales reps. We’re thrilled to build on the momentum the brand has been driving there for many years.”
