Austin, Texas (January 9, 2015) – YETI Coolers, the brand that created and leads the premium cooler category, announced today that Jason Michelotti will join the leadership team as Director of Brand Marketing. Michelotti, who most recently led EMEA/APAC marketing efforts for Gerber Legendary Blades, has over fifteen years of industry experience and will oversee the creative, retail, events, and community marketing teams while helping implement the strategic brand vision for YETI.

Michelotti gained valuable experience at Gerber holding a number of positions including Category Manager, Retail Marketing Manager and Senior Brand Manager before moving overseas to help bolster Gerber’s international presence. Prior to Gerber, Jason honed his marketing chops thorough work with top brands including AT&T, Gillette, Frito-Lay and Pepsi.

“YETI is everything a marketer looks for in a brand and I’m honored to join the incredible team here in Austin,” said Michelotti. “I’ve long admired the YETI brand and look forward to contributing to the company’s continued success.”
