Tailwind Nutrition Helping Runners Get Fueled at Boston Marathon

All-in-one endurance drink mix, Tailwind Nutrition is proud to be an exhibitor at the Boston Marathon Expo April 14 – 16, 2017. Tailwind Nutrition has seen an influx of marathoners wanting its easy-to-use endurance fuel which combines calories and electrolytes for training and racing events such as the Boston Marathon.

Runners experience “gut bombs” that can quickly turn their race south. Tailwind Nutrition, well-known in the endurance world for being easy on the stomach, is quickly becoming the “go-to” sports drink for many runners at the half and full marathon distances. Tailwind uses an optimal ratio of simple carbohydrates and electrolytes to take advantage of the glucose transport mechanism, the body’s most efficient way of delivering energy to cells. This process also results in keeping the body even more hydrated than drinking water by itself.

“It turns out that many half and full marathoners have learned about Tailwind from their trail and ultrarunning friends. We’ve been hearing over the past couple of years that they want us to have a presence at the major races they are running to support their nutrition needs,” states Tailwind Nutrition’s co-founder, Jenny Vierling. “We heeded the call this year, and are kicking off marathon season by attending the Expo where we can meet new Tailwind users and support existing fans who may need a few last-minute stick packs for the race.”

At the Boston Marathon Expo, Tailwind will be on hand to answer questions about how to use the product and will have a variety of flavors on tap for sampling. For those looking for a new form of nutrition that is easy on the stomach, or fans of the popular sports drink who need it for the big day, Tailwind will also have Stick Packs available for purchase.

In addition, Tailwind will be hosting a giveaway throughout the expo where attendees can enter to win a Tailwind gift package including a 30 serving bag of Tailwind, Stick Pack Bundle, t-shirt, trucker hat and water bottle. To enter, attendees can come by the Tailwind booth 2110 and sign up for the #GoTailwind Prize Package.
