OSLO, Norway (November 4, 2014) — Helly Hansen announced today its new partnership with Selkirk Wilderness Skiing, the world’s original snowcat skiing guide service. Beginning in October 2014, Helly Hansen, the leading global apparel provider for mountain sports professionals, will outfit the 40-year-old guide company with outerwear, midlayers, baselayers, and accessories for all guides, employees and retail operations.

With the addition of Selkrik Wilderness Skiing to its family of resort and guide partners, the namesake company of Norwegian sea captain Helly Juell Hansen, who pioneered the world’s first waterproof outerwear, now outfits more than 40,000 mountain professionals at more than 70 resorts and guiding companies worldwide.
