RootsRated.com + Backwoods Host Austin All-Day Block Party To Launch Toad&Co Store-in-Store

Chattanooga, Tenn. – RootsRated.com, the online and mobile resource for “where to go outdoors,” has partnered with Toad&Co and Backwoods to celebrate the launch of the new Austin-area Toad&Co store-in-store. The All-Day Block Party will take place on Saturday, February 28th from 10am-6pm at the Backwoods, Austin retail store in Bee Cave, Texas and will include food, drink and the launch of the Toad&Co’s new Spring Collection.

Toad&Co, Backwoods, and RootsRated.com have partnered since 2012 to curate 103 RootsRated outdoor activities and destinations, for Austin residents and visitors alike. “Austin, Texas is a southern epicenter for outdoor lifestyle and progressive culture,” said Toad&Co’s CEO Gordon Seabury. “Making it easier for people to get outside and explore what Austin has to offer has been our mission from the beginning. The Toad&Co brand is all about sharing good times, in good company, and this Backwoods event embodies who we are at our core.”

Backwoods will also play host to one of the first RootsRated.com in-store iPad kiosks. The in-store freestanding kiosk will allow Backwoods customers to search and digitally share descriptions and directions to new outdoor experiences in and around Austin. “Offering a premium level of service and customer experience are our primary goals, and the RootsRated kiosk is a hand-on tool that helps us to provide just that,” said Aaron Franz, Backwoods Marketing Manager.
