RinseKit, the first-of-its-kind portable, pressurized shower and spray-down system, has retained Verde Brand Communications to serve as its agency of record. RinseKit is like having a garden hose at the beach or the trailhead. The self-contained system quickly fills from a household water spigot and sprays high-pressure water through a nozzle with seven different settings. It requires no batteries or pumping, holds water pressure for a month and sprays for up to four minutes. It weighs just 24 pounds when full with two gallons of water, and sells for $90.
The brainchild of creator Chris Crawford, RinseKit was invented as a simple solution to an age-old battle between surfers and their sandy, salty boards and wetsuits. With RinseKit, surfers can give boards, suits and feet a quick freshwater spray-down before packing up to drive home.
No other products on the market resemble RinseKit, and the potential applications for outdoor activities are endless. RinseKit could be used to hose off muddy mountain bikes at the trailhead, wash dishes and gear at a campsite, spray down dirt-loving pets and people, and clean any other equipment or gear without needing to wait until it’s within reach of a garden hose.
