Austin, TX. (Aug 1, 2016) —Kammok, makers of outdoor gear for the city-to-trail adventurer, is partnering with Parks Project, an outdoor brand of quality goods with a purpose, to create the “Hanging in the Parks” initiative. The goal of the initiative is to fund 1,000 fourth graders on a life-changing adventure to our nation’s national parks by supporting the National Park Foundation’s Every Kid in the Park program.

To raise funds for the Every Kid in the Park program, Kammok and Parks Project are offering an exclusive product bundle that includes a limited edition forest green Roo hammock and Python straps, a Parks Project “Hanging in the Parks” T-Shirt, and custom collaboration sticker. Proceeds from bundle purchases will help bring more kids to the parks and create lasting education for younger generations. The bundle gives consumers the tools to get outside while also directly connecting them to others by supporting the Every Kid in the Park program with their purchase. Each purchase will fund one fourth grader’s trip to a national park in their area.

“This ‘Hanging in the Parks’ project is directly aligned with our mission to Give Adventure,” said Haley Robison, COO at Kammok. “It will equip consumers for purpose-driven adventure while promoting outdoor participation and education for fourth graders across the nation. We couldn’t be more excited about this collaboration.”

“We are always looking for unique ways to support projects in the parks,” said Keith Eshelman, co-founder of Parks Project. “The youth are the future and it’s important to think generationally with respect to how we are going to stay connected with the Parks we use and cherish. The ‘Every Kid in the Park’ program is a beautiful story that we are proud to be a part of this summer and we’re excited to continue giving back to our parks and people alike.”

The collaborative bundle will retail for $150.00 - to purchase a limited edition “Hanging in the Parks” bundle and support the cause visit Kammok.com. For more information on Parks Project visit parksproject.us.
