The Mindful Running Mastermind Retreat features 10 weeks of mindful running coaching with Run Wild Retreats + Wellness CEO, Elinor Fish before and after the live five-day retreat taking place August 17 – 21, 2017. While in Iceland, participants enjoy daily guided trail runs of five to nine miles, spa treatments, wellness workshops, mindful running coaching, chef-prepared gourmet meals, whale watching and much more.
“Participants will learn the mindfulness techniques that not only improve their running, but helps them become more resilient to stress in all areas of life,” says Fish, who is leading the mastermind. “All the important roles women must fulfill in their lives keeps them in overdrive day after day, so more than ever they need a system by which to recognize how stress affects their bodies and minds and tools for mitigating those effects before they get serious.”
The Mindful Running Mastermind Retreat curriculum features Fish’s Mindful Running Training System, which provides runners—who are less likely to embrace a seated mindfulness practice—with a system by which to recognize their daily stress load. That self-awareness then helps them make informed and strategic decisions about how to manage their energy and focus and be more effective in their professional and personal lives.
While participants should have some running fitness to participate in this retreat, they don’t require any experience with trail running or mindfulness. Retreat participants may choose either a private King suite or double occupancy Queen loft suite.
