Nipika Mountain Resort Offers Mindful Running Retreat

Nipika Mountain Resort, a year-round eco-resort nestled in British Columbia’s Rocky Mountains, has partnered with mindful running coach Elinor Fish to add a Mindful Running Retreat, May 12 -15, 2016, to its roster of Resort Adventure Weeks.

The Nipika Mountain Resort Mindful Running Retreat offers runners of all experience levels the techniques and tools to safely run trails while learning how to prevent running-related injuries, optimize nutrition, running gait and training habits. 

Participants also learn how to:

  • Run faster and longer while avoiding injury
  • Keep running no matter how busy/hectic their schedule
  • Recover better and have more energy all day long
  • Reduce stress and improve health through mindful running

The Nipika Mountain Resort Mindful Running Retreat is open to men and women of all running experience levels. During the daily runs (with options ranging from 5K to 15K), participants can run at their own pace with the support of local guides.

The package includes catered meals and lodging in Nipika Mountain Resort’s luxurious log eco-cabins.

Pate is an avid outdoorsman, guide and Nordic skier from Caledon, Ontario.As a running guide and coach, he supports retreat participants while on the trails.

Lyle Wilson,owner/operator, Nipika Mountain Lodge
Lyle has as a lifetime of leadership in sport and outdoor recreation. His background includes two Olympic Games as a coach with the Canadian Cross Country Ski Team and much more.
