TrueHero hires Marcus Mathis as VP of Sales and Marketing


TrueHero is excited to announce Marcus Mathis as the new Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Marcus will be overseeing new business development and assisting owners, Andy and Wendi Held on all aspects of their current business: Events, Online Marketing, Business Services and Production.

Marcusbegan his career as a buyer at May Co (now Macy’s) where he learned all aspects of buying, budgeting and merchandising. He took this skill set to Galyan’s (Dick’s Sporting Goods) where he was responsible for buying in the hunting department and creating private label accessories. Moving away from retail buying, his career at Norwood Promotional Products allowed him to learn more about private label, buying direct from factory, manufacturing and raw materials. With vast experience, he had an opportunity to start his own promotional products company. Mammoth Promotions launched in 2006. Mammoth allowed Marcus to continue working direct with factories and companies, creating custom products for his accounts. Achieving great success with MLB, NFL and NHL, he sold Mammoth to learn an entirely new industry. He became the director of sales and marketing for a rubber recycling operation called EVR-USA. Creating strategies and standards for sales and marketing has been his responsibility. Marcus has been a consultant for TrueHero since the beginning. He has worked on several projects throughout the past two years.
