The Pinneco® Branding Team Attends The International Woolmark Prize Awards 2013, Asia Region
HONG KONG, 16 July, 2013 – The Pinneco® Branding Team attended the International Woolmark Prize 2013, Asia Region, at the W Hotel in Kowloon this past week.
Participation in the The International Woolmark Prize is by invitation only. Designers are nominated by the Regional Nomination Bodies, and then approved by a Global Selection Committee, to finally be invited to enter by The Woolmark Company. To qualify to be invited, an extensive criterion of requirements must be met.
Attending as a Research and Development House, Pinneco® showed support in the Asia region’s growth in the fashion industry. Audiences were brought to a fashion show where it explored new fashion innovations and was taught about designs incorporating Merino Wool and other natural fibers. Along with natural fibers, Woolmark is currently looking into the development of sustainable fibres. Sustainability and innovation is a part of Pinneco®’s company vows, and supporting Woolmark in their sustainable vision comes as a natural step into endorsing sustainability among the fashion industry.
