Liverpool, England (November 3, 2014) – Professional skiers find positive results in using the SkiA Ski Trainer. Benefits include building muscle memory and proper body positioning when on skis. Two athletes who have seen remarkable results are Emily Sarsfield and Edward Drake, ranked #1 female and male Ski Cross competitors in Britain.

Emily Sarsfield has been using the SkiA Ski Trainer for 18 months and finds it beneficial to simulate training on skis, and wake up muscle memory before skiing. Emily also utilizes the SkiA Ski Trainer while doing upper body strength circuits in the gym.

“Not only does SkiA help you find the ‘sweetspot’, the center point of your boots, where you want to be while you’re skiing, but it’s also an amazing core workout! My abs are on fire after a session with it,” said Emily Sarsfield, Professional Ski Cross Skier. “It’s compact, lightweight and the perfect size to fit in my bag, so I take it on the road with me. It’s ideal to have little training tools like this with you so you can always do a training session.”

Edward Drake, men’s British #1 ski cross competitor, started skiing when he was three years old and has been competitively skiing for 10 years. He believes that people of all skiing abilities would highly benefit from the Ski Trainer.

“I think it’s a great tool for beginners as they don’t have a real understanding of where they’re supposed to be weighting their stance,” said Drake, “I also feel that intermediates and experts benefit from the Ski Trainer, as it is really easy to pick up bad habits and a reminder of positioning is very useful.”

“We are extremely proud to have these talented athletes utilize the SkiA Ski Trainer,” said Martin Breach, Director at SkiA. “We are pleased knowing that we have the same goals for people of all skill levels to become better, stronger skiers, and Emily and Edward are the perfect athletes to look up to.”
