Liverpool, England (August 14, 2014) – SkiA, manufacturer of the SkiA Ski Trainer, announces they have signed an agreement to be an Official Supplier to the Professional Ski Instructors of America and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA-AASI) for Winter 2014-15.
As arbiters of the industry standard for snowsports instruction, PSIA-AASI establishes certification standards for instructors and develops educational materials, which are used as core components of instructor training. PSIA-AASI members will be able to utilize the SkiA Ski Trainer to help novices and experts alike train their balance and movement patterns to become more efficient and effective skiers, as well as creating exposure for SkiA within a highly targeted audience.
“We are extremely proud to be associated with PSIA-AASI,” said Martin Breach, Director at SkiA. “The goals of our two organizations are aligned – we want to help people become better skiers. SkiA enables users to very quickly train, practice and perfect a range of essential skills. The Trainer can help anyone become a more efficient skier, and to have more fun skiing. This partnership will allow both instructors and clients to improve balance and efficiency and we look forward to a long relationship.”
“We’re very supportive of SkiA,” said Mark Dorsey, PSIA-AASI Executive Director and CEO. “We think the SkiA Ski Trainer is a perfect tool for helping our membership learn the art of balance and discover how it affects every motion in the sport of skiing. We’re very happy to be able to work with SkiA and make this tool available to our members to help them become a better teacher and skier.”
