PROBAR® Builds A New Home
New Headquarters Serves Growing Company Needs
Salt Lake City, UT (July 30, 2014) — PROBAR®, creator of delicious, convenient, healthy, plant-based real food products, is getting a new home. After 10 years of shifting offices and repeatedly outgrowing workspaces, the company decided it was time to build their own headquarters to finally bring PROBAR’s growing workforce and manufacturing operation together in a combined facility.
PROBAR’s new headquarters and manufacturing facility, located in the company’s hometown of Salt Lake City, UT, is over 30,000 square feet. The new building comfortably accommodates PROBAR’s expanding 70 plus person workforce, with shipping, operations, and product manufacturing in the same facility. Company President Jules Lambert, who began 10 years ago as PROBAR’s first employee, commented, “When we first started the company, we produced our product in 3 different locations because of the demands of our very unique manufacturing process. Moving into this new building will allow us to house the entire process under one roof.”
In addition to bolstering PROBAR’s in-house manufacturing capacity, the facility also hosts a range of employee amenities including a workout/yoga room, showers, indoor bike parking, onsite employee organic garden, and a popular bike path location for easy commuting to and from the office. The building was specifically designed and built to meet PROBAR’s needs and is the first headquarters building owned by the company. “Most first-time homeowners will tell you how much pride and ownership they place in their first real home,” says Lambert, “We feel much the same way about this building.”
PROBAR will operate out of the new facility effective immediately. The new headquarters coincides with PROBAR’s 10-Year Anniversary, a benchmark recently celebrated with an employee grand opening in the new home. PROBAR also plans to host a community grand opening to welcome local companies and partners this summer, dates to-be-announced.
