May 12, 2008 (Portsmouth, N.H.) - POC, known for its innovation and commitment to helmets and body armor protection for extreme sports, such as free skiing, racing, BMX and DH mountain biking has retained Backbone Media of Carbondale, Colorado to handle its public relations efforts.Backbone will oversee media communications and promotion of its current and future product lines.

Founded in Saltsjöbaden, Sweden 4 years ago and successfully branching into the US in 2006, POC offers premium helmets and body armor products. POC's core product line consists of helmets and back protection, while also incorporating other products, such as goggles, gloves, and apparel.
