Outdoor Retailer, Outdoor Industry Association and Grassroots Outdoor Alliance Collaborate to Launch RISE, Retail Inspired Specialty Excellence

Day 0 focused programing and content designed to provide
value and support for specialty retailers

Boulder, CO – December 22, 2015–Outdoor Retailer, Outdoor Industry Association (OIA), and Grassroots Outdoor Alliance (GOA) announced the collaborative launch of RISE – Retail Inspired Specialty Excellence. Designed to be an inspiring day of training, instruction, peer-to-peer collaboration and working sessions for specialty retailers, the goal is to provide insight and resources that can be put into action. This event ensures attending specialty retailers receive tailored education and experiences that will help them succeed in an ever-changing competitive retail landscape.

RISE features an afternoon of roundtables, breakouts and keynotes focused on topics that will help specialty retailers shape, refine and grow their business. Sessions include: How to Compete as a Specialty Retailer in an Omni-Channel World, Specialty Retail’s Top HR Imperatives, Targeting with ConsumerVue Customer Identification Tool and more.

RISE will welcome specialty retailers the afternoon of Day 0, January 6, 2016, at the Leonardo Museum, 209 500 S, Salt Lake City, located within a short distance from the convention center. Activities will begin at 12:00 p.m. through 6:30 p.m. allowing retailers the opportunity to spend their morning at the All Mountain Demo, or travel in to Salt Lake City the morning of, eliminating the need for an additional day out of their stores.
