GREENVILLE, S.C., (June, 3, 2013) - Confluence Watersports recently hired Edith Nelson and Zach Martin as sales representatives in the Western Great Lakes region and the Northeast region, respectively.
Nelson, who brings more than 20 years of sales and outdoor industry experience to the post, has worked with Confluence in a tech rep position in the Midwest since 2010. Prior to joining Confluence, Martin, who has worked in the outdoor industry since 2001, held sales positions at Vibram FiveFingers, Keen Footwear, and EXPED, as well as retail positions at EMS, New Balance, and Hudson Valley Outfitters.
“We’re very pleased to add Edith and Zach to our full time, direct sales team,” said Shelly Moore, VP-Sales of Confluence Watersports. “They are both incredibly smart, hardworking, and experienced. Edith brings a great retail business acumen to our talented sales team, and I know she can help build on the momentum we have in the Western Great Lakes region, and Zach has extensive sales experience in the outdoor and paddlesports industries.”
Nelson resides with her husband and three rescue dogs in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula on a 40-acre farm near Lake Superior where she kayaks, SUPs, and relaxes when she is not working.
Martin lives with his wife in the upper Hudson Valley near Rhinebeck, N.Y., where they kayak, canoe, fish and love to spend time outdoors.
