CamelBak has teamed with an innovative U.S.- based supplier to manufacture bottles with an entirely new material: Eastman Tritanâ„¢ copolyester.

The BPA-free Better Bottle™ with Classic Cap, will ship in early Feb. The Better Bottle with the patented CamelBak Bite Valve™ will transition from polycarbonate to Tritan with a complete changeover expected in spring ‘08.

New colors of the Better Bottle with Bite Valve, introduced in Feb, will all be made from BPA-free Eastman Tritan copolyester.

“We're very pleased to be the first company to deliver 100% BPA-free bottles,” said Layne Rigney, CamelBak's Vice President of Global Sales. “Customers have been asking for a BPA-free alternative and our design team has delivered.”
