The Pinneco® Branding Team Attends The Innovation and Technology Symposium 2013, organised by The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel
HONG KONG, 26 September, 2013 – The Pinneco® Branding Team attended The Innovation and Technology Symposium 2013 organised by The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre this past week.
The theme of the symposium is "The Future Of Innovation." The symposium focused on topics revolving the textile and clothing industry, serving not only as a conference showcasing a variety of keynote presentations from different speakers, but also as an interactive platform among industry players, researchers and scholars. Technical discussion and solution-orientated goals surfaced throughout the symposium, encouraging enthusiasm in the industry.
At the symposium, Professor Zhu Meifang, Dean of College of Material Science and Engineering, Dong Hua University, discussed that polymer-rich functional nanocomposite fiber material is one of the" most important strategic materials for the economy and people's livelihood." Professor Zhu Meifang had also encouraged the government to provide more resources to relevant researchers to discover new opportunities in technology development.
The symposium was inspiring and supports many of Pinneco®'s industry initiatives. Attending as a Research and Development House, Pinneco® sees HKRITA as a prestigious innovation leader and anticipates for a collaboration opportunity in technology development in the near future.
