SnowSports Industries America (SIA) has spent the past few months studying snow fashion trends for next season and we're happy to share our notes. It started with the Snow Show's Fashion & Trends Show plus seminars by NYC-based fashion forecasters Stylesight and now we're wrapping up the winter with a runway show at the upcoming Aspen Fashion Week (March 11-14).

By hosting and attending these fashion-focused events, SIA has gathered a great collection of articles, presentations and videos making SIA the go-to resource for snow sports fashion and trend spotting. See below for more information and direct links.

Aspen Fashion Week (March 11-14)
In just over a week, SIA Members will appear in the runway show Snow Collections Presented by SIA appearing on “The Snowstage” Monday, March 12th at 4PM. The line-up includes Dale of Norway, FERA, Helly Hansen, Killy, Crimson Klover, Obermeyer and SKEA with each brand presenting their top looks for next season. During Aspen Fashion Week, SIA will be posting highlights to their Facebook page and Twitter feed. The Stylesight team will also provide insight on street style and runway looks from AFW, which will appear on SIA's blog.

Fashion & Trends Show
Fashion details will be important in 2012.13 from kick guards on pants to contrasting zippers, fur and leather accents on jackets. Amazing details were apparent on the runway of the Snow Show's Fashion & Trends Show including spectacular colors, styles and prints. Check out the 2012 SIA Snow Fashion + Trends View, A Look Forward video (http://vimeo.com/38168913) for a fashion recap or to see what you missed.

Stylesight Mega Trends for 2012.13
Also during the Show, a packed room gathered to hear Stylesight Senior Active Editor, Jeanine Pesce present F/W 13 Color + Mega Trends seminar covering marketing, lifestyle, product launches and what's coming up on the fashion front. Pesce presented major trends driving the snow sports sector including color combinations, key silhouettes, design details, prints/graphics, innovative materials focusing on performance, surface textures and developments in technology.
