Sea to Summit partners with Backpacker Magazine’s 2016 Get Out More tour

Boulder, CO; May 5, 2016. Sea to Summit is proud to return as a sponsorship partner of Backpacker Magazine’s 2016 Get Out More tour, the grassroots roadshow-style campaign that inspires people to get out camping and backpacking and offers all kinds of tips on how do it right.

The Get Out More tour is now in its 16th year and continues to be very relevant for the end-user as well as for specialty outdoor stores, where most of the tour stops are hosted. After a few years' hiatus from being the tour's presenter, the uber-knowledgeable and engaging Randy Propster, is back as its 2016 ambassador. "Returning to the Get Out More Tour is a dream come true for me. I'm back in a position that enables me to share my passion for the outdoors with thousands of people across the country and thanks to the support of Sea to Summit I'll be introducing my audiences to some of the most innovative outdoor gear currently available.”

Sea to Summit is one of just a handful of select brands sponsoring the tour and was one of Randy's top choices to partner with. "What we've always liked about the Get Out More tour is how authentic and super informative the events are", says Shelley Dunbar, Sea to Summit's Marketing Director. "As a presenter Randy has a gift for sharing his wealth of backcountry experience in a captivating, non-intimidating way. The 2016 Get Out More tour will kick off on May 11th at the Trail Days festival in Damascus, VA and will continue through 47 other states, stopping at 45 retail store locations and four other festivals and trail adventures along the way.
