Mervin Manufacturing Teams with Hayter Comm
SEATTLE (October 21, 2014) – Mervin Manufacturing, makers of Lib Tech, Gnu and Roxy Snowboards, has named Hayter Communications as its PR agency of record for the 2014/15 Winter season.
Homegrown between the rugged Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges, Mervin Manufacturing designs and builds industry-leading snowboard, NAS (Narrow Ass Snowboard a.k.a. ski), surf and skate products in the world’s most environmental board factory. Who better to get weird with Gnu, handcraft with Lib, and ride and shine with Roxy snowboards than Hayter Comm? A brother from another mother, Seattle- and Boulder-based Hayter Comm shares a rich Northwest history representing a long list of diverse outdoor, tech, booze and winter sports clients.
“The Hayter Comm crew lives the snow sports industry and just gets it when it comes to our brands,” said Jami Davis, Mervin Manufacturing’s Director of Marketing. “We are up to our neck in bananas and pickles over here, so partnering with Hayter’s team to lead our PR efforts is a mighty step to help get the word out.”
Mervin Manufacturing is the latest A-lister to join the Hayter Comm portfolio of brands including Helly Hansen, Outdoor Tech, MSR, Royal Enfield Motorcycles, CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures, Coleman and a number of other known entities. The account will be overseen by Hayter Commians Tara Yant and Casey Raymer. For more on the latest from Lib Tech, Gnu and Roxy Snowboards, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
About Mervin Manufacturing
Mervin Manufacturing was founded by snowboarders Mike Olson and Pete Saari in 1977. In an industry where virtually every other snowboard, ski, skateboard and surfboard company has moved production to China or offshore, Mervin is the longest running and last major board building factory in the U.S.A. Based out of Carlsborg, Washington, between the rugged Olympic and Cascade Mountain Ranges, Mervin is a direct link between riding and manufacturing.
