K2 Sports Appoints Jason DeJong to Head-up U.S. Sales for Growing Snowshoe Division

SEATTLE, Wash. (Aug. 18, 2014) - K2 Sports is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason DeJong to the newly created position of U.S. snowshoe sales manager. He will oversee all domestic sales of the Atlas, Tubbs and Powder Ridge brands. Under this new position, DeJong will report directly to Jason Tillinghast, sales director of K2 Outdoor.

“Jason has over 15 years of relevant industry and company experience to bring to this new role,” says Tillinghast, “I’m very excited that the growth of the K2 Outdoor category has allowed us to create this custom made position for Jason.”

DeJong, who has spent the last two years with K2 as the snowshoe category product planner, spent numerous years as a buyer for Porters in Lake Tahoe and as an outside rep for Marker Bindings before joining the K2 family. In his new role, DeJong will oversee all of the day-to-day snowshoe category requirements.
