Mt. Airy, North Carolina, (For Immediate Release)— In celebration of the new Blue Ridge series of running socks, Farm to Feet and RoanokeOutside are giving away a trip for two to the 2015 Blue Ridge Marathon during Outdoor Retailer Summer Market (ORSM) in Salt Lake City, UT.

ORSM attendees can enter the giveaway at the Farm to Feet booth (BR611) starting day one of the show, Wednesday August 6, and the winner will be selected during the Blue Ridge Happy Hour from 5-6:30 pm on Friday August 8, in the Farm to Feet booth.

The grand prize for two includes airfare to Roanoke, VA, race entries, accommodations, and access to all Blue Ridge Marathon activities including the pre-race pasta dinner, post race concert and more.

“The Blue Ridge Mountains are less than 20 minutes from our home in Mt. Airy, and so teaming up with the marathon and Roanoke Outside was a natural fit,” said David Petri, Farm to Feet marketing director. “Everyone should visit the Blue Ridge Mountains at some point and running amongst them is a great way to experience their beauty.”

The race course starts in downtown Roanoke and climbs to the top of Mill Mountain and Roanoke Mountain along sections of the Blue Ridge Parkway for a total elevation change of 7,430 feet, making it America’s toughest road marathon. The 2015 Blue Ridge Marathon is scheduled for April 18, 2015.

“We are excited to be teaming up with Farm to Feet,” said Pete Eshelman, director of outdoor branding for the Roanoke Regional Partnership. “Their socks are a great match for our event; a perfect balance between beauty and toughness.”
