Anderson Lee, Vice Chairman of Sustainable Fashion Business Consortium Joins The Textile Council as General Committee Member
HONG KONG, June 2013 – Anderson Lee, Vice Chairman of Sustainable Fashion Business Consortium (SFBC) joins the Textile Council as General Committee Member.
Through nominations, Lee was chosen to join the committee along with Dr. Gordon Yen, Executive Director of Fountain Set (Holdings) and Chairman of The Hong Kong Association of Textile Bleachers, Dyers, Printers and Finishers.
The Textile Council was incorporated on the 22nd of July 1988 and officially inaugurated on the 12th of December 1989. Those on the council act as a voice for the textile industry, from associations and organizations to business practicing spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, and garment manufacturing skill sets. Lee is confident and honored to be a part of The Textile Council, truly believing in their vision in being the voice of the textile industry. “I am so excited to have a chance to be able to learn from industry leaders, all the while hoping that I could also bridge a cohesion through sustainability to encourage collaboration and to better serve our industry and society.
