Ultimate Direction, the leading brand in hydration and wearable gear innovations, is proud to announce the launch of their latest trail collection, with an expanded product range to suit the most adventurous runners.
Headlined by the upgraded range of Fastpacks, which now features the Fastpack 15 and 45, the collection covers every type of athlete -- from serious ultrarunners to everyday pavement pounders who need a pack for their run into work.
The latest collection takes a 360-degree approach in preparing runners for any trail they face with the inclusion of new products, including the FK Tarp & FK Bivvy.
Buzz Burrell, Brand Vice President at Ultimate Direction, said, “Runners are redefining what you can do on two feet. They’re going farther, exploring more and creating new adventures. The Trail Collection gives them the fundamental tools they need to tackle the complexities that come with running a variety of terrain over a variety of conditions and a variety of days.”
Each pack in Ultimate Direction’s Trail Collection has a specific purpose with unique designs helping to fill a niche for runners that no other pack company approaches. The latest editions in the Fastpack range means there is something for everyone.
The Fastpacks features carrying capacities of 15, 25, 35 and 45 liters. All four packs utilize the extremely strong but yet breathable MonoRip Mesh material. The Fastpack 15 actually over-delivers by holding up to 20 litres. Anton Krupicka, describes the Fastpack 15 as “the pack which allows you to carry everything you need for around town, to an adventure in the mountains.”
The Fastpack 25 and Fastpack 35 deliver extra carrying capacity and are extremely versatile packs that can be used for a number of activities whether it’s running, biking or skiing. Both packs have a large front storage for water, phones, maps, glasses, or food. The 35 also features a lightweight waist belt to help with heavier loads and which is easily removable with the T-Hook system.
The Fastpack 45 has been added to the collection due to clear feedback that runners wanted even more capacity for those bigger adventures, including overnight or multi-day trips. Its roll-top closure expands or contracts to secure varying capacities and it has a lightweight mesh waist belt for stability.
Ultimate Direction have taken this Trail Collection to another level with the introduction of their latest products including the FK Tarp and FK Bivy. Both of these products are designed to be spacious, lightweight and versatile and pair perfectly for total protection against the elements. The shaped FK Tarp features catenary cuts that maximize usable room while minimizing weight. The FK Bivy has a unique “frog-mouth” opening, providing easy entry and plenty of headroom.
The new Fastpacks will be available March 2017 online at https://ultimatedirection.com/trail-collection/. The FK Tarp & FK Bivy will be available late summer 2017.
