SAN FRANCISCO (January 22, 2014) - Timbuk2, the original San Francisco bag company, introduces new lifestyle and bike commute bags to its fast-expanding women’s collection for Fall 2014 at OR Winter Market 2014 (Booth #13015). Featuring fresh fabrics and seasonal color options that lend to a cohesive and on-trend aesthetic, Timbuk2’s latest women offerings include a new backpack, messenger bag and two shoulder bags that fuse feminine flare with workhorse functionality.

“For 25 years we have continuously evolved our products to meet the changing needs of our customers,” said Timbuk2 CEO Mike Wallenfels. “As women have increasingly accounted for a large portion of Timbuk2 sales, we have made it a priority to offer our female customer base functional, stylish and versatile apparel. We believe we are filling a void in the outdoors industry in terms of what companies offer women.”

Last year Timbuk2 launched its most comprehensive women’s collection to date, conducting countless focus groups with women to develop products that answered the modern and active woman’s needs. The collection revealed an entirely new look and feel for Timbuk2, playing a critical role in the company’s expansion as a lifestyle brand.
