RHINO-RACK Unveils New Fit-Everything Cargo Boxes and Ski Carriers

Universal fit roof rack systems accommodate every car under the sun, no matter the crossbar or rack configuration.

DENVER, COLO. (December 7, 2012) Australia's industry leader in roof rack systems is fast making a splash in the U.S., hitting the 2013 ski and snowboard season with a line of new ski and snowboard carriers featuring an innovative “universal fit” to accommodate easy attachment to racks of all shapes and sizes.

With its North American headquarters in Denver, Colo., RHINO-RACK debuts two new cargo boxes for the 2013 season, as well as three ski and snowboard racks. The key, says sales director Tony Leix, is that they're all universal, meaning they'll fit any car on the market right out of the box, no matter the crossbar or rack configuration.

The new Zenith line of cargo boxes includes five sizes ranging from 14 to 17.5 cubic feet of secure storage space. Highlighting the line are the new, top-of-the-line RMF Z-65 and RMF Z-85 models. All boxes come with RHINO-RACK's universal “Master-Fit” clamp, ensuring they'll attach to slope-bound cars large or small, no matter the rack. “They're also tapered, with a low-profile toward the back, meaning you can get into those tight garages at resorts,” says Leix.

RHINO-RACK ski and snowboard carriers come with universal mounting clamps for all crossbars as well, and are extra wide to suit today's wider skis. Stand-alone ski and snowboard carriers include the 562U Series (Internal: 9.8”; External: 15.8”), which holds two pairs of skis (or several fishing rods); the 564U Series (Internal: 19.7”; External: 25.6”), which carries four pairs of skis or two snowboards; and the 566U Series (Internal: 27.6”; External: 31.5”), which holds six pairs of skis or four snowboards. “They're top-notch, user-friendly carriers to get all your gear to the mountains safely and securely with no worries,” says Leix. “And they're all built RHINO-RACK tough, just like the Rocky Mountains.”

RHINO-RACK has been offering high-quality sporting accessory racks in Australia for more than 20 years and is the country's industry leader with 80 percent of the market. Operating out of its Norht Amercian headquarters in Denver, Colo., for the past three years, the company makes roof rack systems, car/topper rack kits, alloy trays, ladder rack systems, awnings, boat loaders, cargo boxes and baskets, bike, ski and kayak carriers and more.
