Steamboat, Colo., -- (May 5, 2011)Point6, a market leader in performance merino wool socks, welcomes two new key hires with Tricia Foster, global operations coordinator, and Sharon Smith, accountant.

These new team members reflect the strong growth at Point6 as the company continues to gain market share, and delight retailers and consumers with top-quality product and customer service.With the growth trajectory on the rise, these new hires will help ensure accurate and timely communications with internal stakeholder and key constituents, while also helping keep the company on track for its expansion and financial goals.

In her new role with the operations team as global operations coordinator, Foster will take on production and packaging and work on international orders and inventory. Additionally, she will develop processes that will make the office more efficient and improve communications both internally with key team members and externally with representatives and customers.Foster’s new role enables her continue to help position Point6’s products as the best quality, most cost efficient and sustainable products available.

Point6 is also proud to welcome Sharon Smith as their full-charge accountant.In this role, Smith will be in charge of overseeing all U.S. and international financial business, as well as managing day-to-day accounts receivable, payable and financial reporting to the management team.
