NEMO Equipment Joins Grassroots Outdoor Alliance as a Vendor Partner

Grassroots Outdoor Alliance (Grassroots) is pleased to announce that NEMO Equipment has joined our organization as a Vendor Partner.

NEMO was founded in 2002, with the goal of improving the experience of adventure through high-level design and engineering. The first few years were spent learning how to sew and pattern and developing NEMO's AirSupported Technology®. Tents were chosen as NEMO's first product line because the team saw the opportunity to bring significant new innovation to the market and knew that successfully revolutionizing tents would give NEMO the credibility to move into new product lines in the future.

True to that initial vision, NEMO now has a comprehensive line of sleeping bags, sleeping pads, tents and accessories. The company has won numerous domestic and international design and media awards and continues to bring innovation to the marketplace, most recently with its award-winning Spoon™ Shape sleeping bags, which make a great night’s sleep in the backcountry possible for side sleepers.

NEMO also shares another common characteristic with the retail members of Grassroots. The company believes in the importance of giving back and has set up a program to take $2 from every prodeal sale and donate to 5 major non-profit organizations.
