Mountainsmith Backpacks and Brew Benefit Raises $5000 for AAC

Golden, Colorado, August 7, 2013 – Outdoor Retailer attendees lined up for screamin' deals on Thursday during Outdoor Retailer to take advantage of limited edition Mountainsmith Scream 25 and Mayhem 35 packs, the total proceeds of which went to support the American Alpine Club (AAC). The result: The AAC now has an additional $5000 in their coffers. Purchases were made over cold brew, free swag and some good company. And it did not end there. The fun continued with raffle prizes including hats and t-shirts; a Mountain Shelter LT, Mayhem 35 and Scream 25; an AAC membership, hoodie and copies of their book entitled Accidents in Northern American Mountaineering. All the fun festivities were compliments of Mountainsmith and the AAC.
