SEATTLE, Wa., January 5th, 2016, MiiR, a certified B Corp and leader in the social enterprise movement announced today that Audrey Hicks has been appointed to MiiR’s advisory group, effective immediately. Audrey has also been named CFO and COO of MiiR, reporting directly to MiiR founder and CEO Bryan Papé.

As CFO and COO, Audrey will oversee the company’s operations, financial and support teams. This includes global supply chain, compliance, distribution, retail operations, finance, human resources and information systems. Through this multi-faceted role, she will lead the management team through organizational development, strategic planning and budgeting, as well as manage all treasury, legal and risk management issues.
Most recently Audrey was the CFO at Outdoor Research, leaving in 2014 after nearly 10 years of service. She currently serves as a Board Member and Treasurer for the Outdoor Industry Women’s Coalition (OIWC) and as a Board Trustee for the Tyee Yacht Club. Prior to Outdoor Research, Audrey was the Director of Finance at HaloSource (HALO) and began her career as a public accountant at KPMG where she left as a Manager in 1996 to work at variety of businesses in different industries in both the public and private sectors. This included Getty Images (GETY), Seattle’s Best Coffee and Aspen Technology (AZPN). Audrey also ran her own consulting service from 2000 to 2003, offering strategic financial advice to venture backed startups and other high-growth clients. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. When not working, Audrey is with her family, cruising Pacific Northwest waters in Honu Koloa, the 44’ Tollycraft they call home.
MiiR has also added six world class leaders as outside advisors: Dennis Madsen (former CEO of REI and current board member of Alaska Airlines and West Marine), Nick MacPhee (former SVP of Global Operations of Microsoft), Mason Reay (former CEO of Nuun and former VP Global Marketing of Dell) Dave Matter (CFA and Managing Director of BlackRock), Jason Bolt (CEO of Revant Optics), and Lawrence Brown (Partner of Brown & Sterling).
MiiR was founded in 2010 by entrepreneur Bryan Papé with the simple mission of fusing business and philanthropy into a global movement of empowerment. Each product sold has a give back component made visible through its unique impact tracking system which allows each product to be registered, connecting the consumer with those being empowered.
