Hot Chillys welcomes Stone Face Sales to their sales team. Principals, John Whitcomb and Scott Dawson, will cover the New England territory and join the tightly knit crew of long-term Hot Chillys stakeholders.

Whitcomb and Dawson bring a wealth of experience from the ski and snowboard industry and a combined 40 years of sales experience. They currently represent companies highly complementary to the Hot Chillys brand, including K-2 Skis and Snowboarding, Morrow Snowboarding, Ogio, Level Gloves and Sessions Outerwear.

“Stone Face's blend of ski, outdoor and snowboard account relationships should allow for a smooth transition with our existing account base as well as opportunity for new penetration in both outdoor and snowboard accounts,” says Steve Lee, vice president of sales at Hot Chillys. “We're happy to have them aboard.”

Ultimately, the most important element in forming this partnership is the commitment Stone Face Sales makes to superior customer service, support and training. Hot Chillys values the long-standing relationships it has with its customers and recognizes its sales representatives to be the all-important liaison.

Stone Face Sales will be taking over for the irreplaceable Freddie Merchant, who is retiring after a 23-year career as a sales rep and beloved member of the Hot Chillys family. Merchant will continue to work with Hot Chillys throughout the transition, as well as at key industry events throughout the upcoming winter season.

Whitcomb and Dawson will hit the ground running at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, August 8-12, 2008. What remains to be seen as Hot Chillys welcomes them into the culture of this fun-loving company: can they make a world-class margarita?
