Grassroots Partners with Keen to Support Flood Relief in Colorado

Lyons, CO–

Grassroots Outdoor Alliance & Keen are teaming up with Oskar Blues Brewery, the Can’d Aid Foundation, & the Infamous Stringdusters to support flood relief in the town of Lyons, CO. Lyons was the town most impacted by last year’s devastating floods, and it is a launching point for many locals to get outdoors in the area. Grassroots will be hosting its annual summit from June 9-June 12 in Loveland, CO, which is only 15 miles from Lyons.

Can’d Aid is the non-profit side of Oskar Blues Brewery and a public charity dedicated to giving back. They help funnel dollars to various community organizations, and with the Grassroots & Keen Colorado Flood Relief Party & the Boulder Mountain Bike Alliance, Can’d Aid is mobilizing to rebuild the trails in Lyons.

The Boulder Mountain Bike Alliance has identified mixed use trail areas in Lyons that were hard hit by flooding as well as several in Boulder County. Grassroots, Keen, & Oskar Blues aim to raise $15,000 through the event, and all funds raised at the event will go to the direct rebuilding of these trails for outdoor users. Oskar Blues Brewery is donating beer for the event, Leisure Trends is sponsoring the bar, and the Infamous Stringdusters are performing in what promises to be a fantastic evening.

There will be an opportunity for vendors and retailers attending the Grassroots Summit to donate while at the event, but we have had inquiries about how people can help if they are not attending the event.

Every dollar helps!
