Septmeber 19, 2013 – Cincinnati, OH – In response to the massive flooding that hit Colorado this past week, Headsweats will immediately start giving 50% of all sales from its Colorado Flood Relief Collection to the American Red Cross to offer aid to the those affected by the Colorado Floods. One of the worst natural disasters that Colorado has seen this century, the floods that occurred last week left thousands of people displaced and caused President Obama to declare the area a major disaster. Officials have said that Boulder County alone will need an estimated $150 million to rebuild major roadways and bridges.
“Our sales office is based in Boulder, so we had many team members who were directly affected by the storms and flooding in the area,” states Mike McQueeney, President of Headsweats and longtime Boulder resident. “We wanted to give back to and support our community through this tough and difficult time of rebuilding.”
For every Colorado Flood Relief Collection Race Hat and Supervisor sold, Headsweats will give 50% of the sale to American Red Cross. More information on the collection can be found at www.headsweats.com or please contact Angie Houck at email@example.com.
