Gordini Introduces New Goggle Technology

Gordini has developed a new venting system that will be incorporated into its expanded 2006-07 goggle collection.

Gordini's new venting system, called G.V.S., utilizes side vents in the frame to create air movement allowing it to flow between the frame and lens area for fog free vision. Along with the existing Gordini goggle line, all new goggles are fully helmet compatible

The new system will be featured in the all new Kingpin, Triumph and Avalanche II.

In conjunction with the new goggle styles, Gordini will be launching a new website dedicated to its revamped goggle line, a full scale ad campaign and a ski/snowboard team made up of top industry veterans and up and coming amateur riders. The new product and campaign will be launched to the trade at the upcoming winter shows.

The Kingpin, $75 suggested retail, sits at the top of the new Gordini collection with a spherical lens featuring a larger lens area for maximum visual performance, hinged outriggers and super plush fleece cover dual-density foam for uncompromised fit and unmatched styling. The Kingpin is available with four lens options and four frame colors including a new amplified red frame.

An existing favorite restyled, the Avalanche II, $65 suggested retail, will have an updated look while also sporting a new hinged outrigger system. Looking at this goggle makes you want to hit the slopes. Incredible fit, function and fashion all blended into one. The Avalanche II will be available in five frame colors and four lens options including a new blue mirrored lens.

The Triumph, $55 suggested retail, is quite possibly the most exciting product seen around the Gordini offices and on the hill. This sleek and smooth style features clean lines that flow around a spherical lens. The Triumph is available in four lens options and six frame colors, including the extremely intriguing florescent green.

Last but not least of the new styles the Sportster, $50 suggested retail, is on double duty, accommodating both women and youth.
