Experience some true Southern hospitality and relief from Utah’s soaring August temperatures during Eagles Nest Outfitters’ (ENO) first Happy Hour at this year’s Summer Outdoor Retailer Show. Combining hammocks, limited edition mason jars (filled with refreshing beverages for a $5 donation!), art from Creative Action Network’s (CAN) ‘See America’ campaign, bluegrass tunes, and fun giveaways, the event is in support of the National Parks Conservation Association.

Kicking off at 4:30 p.m. on Day 1 of the Show, ENO will transform their booth (#26042) into an art gallery, displaying poster sized ‘See America’ prints: a crowd-sourced art campaign by CAN, enlisting artists from all 50 state celebrating our national parks and other treasured sites. The posters were originally commissioned by the government 75 years ago to showcase the country’s most stunning natural features.

“We are thrilled to partner with ENO on a happy hour that offers both inspiring national park artwork and the most comfortable hammocks around for the Outdoor Retailer Show crowd,” said NPCA Senior Southwest Regional Director David Nimkin. “The goal of the See America project is to connect new audiences to our national parks – and we are incredibly grateful ENO is helping us do just that.”

Aside from perusing art, limited edition mason jars will be available for a small donation, bluegrass music will set the tone, and a raffle – involving ENO hammocks, See America posters and America the Beautiful passes – will be held at the end of the event. All proceeds benefit NPCA’s Southeast Regional Office, encompassing parks from the southeastern shorelines to the southern highlands, including the Blue Ridge Parkway – ENO’s back yard.

“We’re so excited to host our first Happy Hour with such an amazing partner as the NPCA,” Amy Allison, ENO’s Event Coordinator said. “The work they do is so commendable, working to protect the (National) Park System that so many of us in this industry enjoy on a regular basis.”

The fun begins at 4:30 pm on Day 1 of the Show at the ENO booth #26042. Come have a dance, a drink, or simply a hang with ENO, the NPCA and CAN. Winners of the raffle must be in attendance in order to claim their prize.
