BOULDER, COLORADO – The TreePod Camper, a two-person hanging tent for adults, will debut at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in Salt Lake City, Jan. 10-12, 2017.

“There are other companies in the field of suspended tents, but none have done it from a single point or reached the level of quality and ease of use that the Camper affords,” said Ricardo Bottome, CEO of TreePod Hanging Treehouses LLC. “We are taking camping to a whole new level, literally.”

The original TreePod, a much smaller hanging tent designed for kids, was introduced in April 2016 after a successful Kickstarter campaign.

“We didn’t just build the Camper because we thought it was a cool idea,” said Bottome. “We got tons of positive feedback from kids and parents about the original TreePod. That made it a very easy decision to develop a larger, more robust tent for adults.”

Perched on the vanguard of a new generation of camping, the TreePod Camper ($575 MSRP) allows users to sleep up above the roots and rocks, away from insects and animals. With durable fabric walls, taped waterproof seams and a lightweight aluminum frame that sets up quickly and easily on a sturdy tree branch, the TreePod Camper will be a welcome addition to long car journeys or festival trips.

The TreePod Camper features a spacious interior for two adults to sleep comfortably. To keep sleeping areas separate, an optional mesh barrier can be set up to divide the tent. Each side has its own door and all doors and windows have a mesh exterior that can be closed for rain protection.

The TreePod Camper will be available by April 2017.
