Los Angeles, CA – May 1, 2018CERO, the company that aims to make cities a better place to live by designing high-quality electric cargo bikes, today announced its partnership with velofix, North America’s largest fleet of Mobile Bike Shops, to reach more customers in select markets across the United States. The partnership is effective immediately and consumers are able to select the Velofix service option when ordering a CERO One bicycle directly from CERO’s website

After a successful IndieGoGo campaign in 2017, the company has since launched its first model, the CERO One. With a rapidly growing customer base, CERO has turned to velofix to deliver ready-made bikes to the customer’s doorstep. velofix’s elite fleet of mobile bike shops are located throughout the United States and will be fully trained on the CERO One bikes and will be able to orient the owner to their brand new CERO One e-cargo bike. Through the partnership, CERO One owners will experience the same ease and tailored experience as visiting a local dealer, while enjoying the convenience of staying in their own home.

“Our vision is to see communities across the nation living sustainably. The CERO one provides our customers with the opportunity to transition away from their standard household vehicle and utilize bikes as their primary mode of transportation,” said Kiyoshi Iwai, founder of CERO. “Now, though our partnership with velofix, we’re able to reach more of our customers and continue to provide them with the quality service they deserve.”

“We’re proud to partner with some of the best bikes brands on the market and deliver a wide variety bikes suited for every occasion” said velofix co-founder Chris Guillemet. “As families are increasingly looking for alternative modes of transportation, we’re happy to now offer the CERO One electric cargo bike and deliver these custom bikes to their doorsteps.”

About CERO
At CERO Bikes, our goal is to design high-quality electric cargo bikes that help make our cities a better place to live. CERO is a family owned and operated business out of Los Angeles California started by Kiyoshi Iwai, who moved from Japan to California over 20 years ago. Kiyoshi, a passionate environmentalist and surfer, witnessed traffic congestion in LA grow unsustainably as climate change rapidly increased. He saw in electric cargo bikes a solution to our modern transportation problem, and partnered with two veteran bicycle engineers to design the CERO One. After a successful crowdfunding campaign, CERO is now shipping direct-to-consumers and via bicycle retailers specializing in electric bikes.

About Velofix

Recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as “one of the most impressive mobile franchises,” Velofix has also been featured on the CBC’s Dragon’s Den (Canada’s version of Shark Tank), which resulted in Jim Treliving coming on board as an investor. Charles Chang of Lyra Growth Partners has also invested in velofix. The fleet of 125 + Franchise Partners are in every major Canadian and American markets. Velofix currently has plans to expand to a total of 175 franchises across North America in 2018.
