Who’s on the move: Salewa promotes Drew Saunders; David Visnack moves up at Redington; Exped names new team in Canada; and more

Salewa North America, in Boulder, Colo., promoted Drew Saunders to operations director to help the company scale with recent growth. Saunders, who previously served as the Salewa’s customer operations manager, will now head up all customer service functions as well as logistics, inventory management, warehouse management, IT and all related core operational functions. Salewa also sells, distributes and services the Dynafit and Pomoca brands in North America. Saunders has been with Salewa since 2008, previously working in sales and product management at Kelty.

Far Bank Enterprises, in Bainbridge, Wash., promoted David Visnack to the role of general manager of its Redington fly fishing brand. Visnack will focus on growing Redington’s hardgoods and softgoods categories, and he will continue to provide senior marketing leadership for all Far Bank brands including Sage Manufacturing and RIO Products.



Exped North America
, in Seattle, Wash., named In-Sport Fashions, in Montreal, Canada, to manage all of the brand’s Canadian business, starting Jan. 1, 2013. The move will allow Exped’s team in Seattle to focus on the U.S. market, while In-Sport Fashions, led by Dana Nelson, will grow Exped’s business in Canada. Exped’s global headquarters are based in Switzerland.



Kate’s Real Food
, in Jackson Hole, Wyo., added Paul Alvarez and Chris Rounds to the its team of sales representatives. Alvarez, out of Reno, Nev., will head up sales for the northern California and Tahoe areas. His other clients include Point 6, Nordica and Sun Valley Ski Tools. Rounds will represent Kate’s Real Food in the Midwest. His other clients include Osprey Packs, Princeton Tec and Treksta. Kate’s Real Food continues to look for a sales rep in the Colorado / Rocky Mountain region.

SylvanSport, in Brevard, N.C., hired S. Peyre Cleveland as the its new sales manager and Patrick Kennedy as its new operations manager. The newly created positions will support overall growth and new product launches in 2013. Cleveland previously worked in sales at Beretta International, and Kennedy perviously served as the former executive director of the Housing Assistance Corp. in Henderson County, N.C.
