Snowsports Industries America's event lineup for before and during Outdoor Retailer Snow Show

It includes one big birthday, a slew of awards, and nearly two dozen informational sessions

Klaus Obermeyer, trade and tariffs, and creating emotional connection with omnichannel consumers are only a few of the topics on the agenda for Snowsports Industries America's (SIA) lineup of events before and during the second-ever Outdoor Retailer Snow Show.

Over the four days, SIA members and non-members alike can pick from 24 different panels, discussions, award ceremonies, and parties with speakers and guests from Google, NPD, Bluesign, Origin Designs, Nemo, and many other companies.

Klaus Obermeyer

1. Industry + Intelligence Keynote Lunch Celebrating Klaus Obermeyer
Tuesday, Jan. 29 from 12:45 to 2:00 p.m.

The word "legend" is an understatement when it comes to Klaus Obermeyer. Klaus has been synonymous with the snow industry for decades. His innovation has inspired product design for almost every company doing business in snow sports today. And this year, Klaus turns 100 years old. Join us for lunch to celebrate this amazing milestone with Klaus Obermeyer himself and wish him an early Happy Birthday.

2. SIA's Spirit Awards and 10 Barrel Happy Hour
Tuesday, Jan. 29 from 4:45 to 6:00 p.m.
Colorado Convention Center, Room 401

Conclude Industry + Intelligence Day with happy hour and the first annual SIA "Snowsports Spirit Awards" celebrating four individuals within our industry, chosen by our staff, who exemplify the spirit of SIA, passion for the sports, and the determination to make the industry as strong as it can be. 3. ORSS Kickoff Breakfast - "A New Era of Collaboration"
Wednesday, Jan. 30 from 7:15 to 8:45 am
Colorado Convention Center, Room 401

Kick off the show with breakfast and a celebration with SIA partners and its collective commitment to innovation and progress. The morning will kick off with welcome remarks from SIA President Nick Sargent and Outdoor Retailer Show Director Marisa Nicholson, and conclude with a discussion with partners about how outdoor businesses are collaborating to address a common threat: climate change. Breakfast will be served.

4. SIAprés 10 Barrel Happy Hour
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, Jan. 30, 31, and Feb. 1 at 4 p.m.
