Swiftwick, a made in the USA performance sock company, is pleased to introduce FLITE XT, a technologically advanced cross-training sock. Using a unique blend of fibers and proprietary technology, FLITE XT socks improve stability for activities like CrossFit that require lateral motion.
“We are excited to bring the Swiftwick experience to the world of functional fitness,” said Chuck Smith, president of Swiftwick. “As functional fitness trends continue to rapidly grow, our longtime running and cycling consumers are participating in multiple activities beyond their traditional routines. These workouts require more stability from constantly changing, multidimensional exercises. With the FLITE XT, I sincerely believe our team has delivered the best cross-training sock ever developed, and we’re excited to expand Swiftwick into the fitness market.”
To achieve meaningful stability, FLITE XT utilizes several Swiftwick innovations. The heel and forefoot of the sock features GripDry, a nanofiber with micro treads to increase gripping power and prevent athletes’ feet from slipping inside their shoes during quick lateral transitions. This unique fiber is blended with the Swiftwick’s signature Olefin fiber to wick moisture and keep feet dry for an entire workout. In addition, FLITE XT socks include Switfwick’s unique AnkleLock technology, which offers targeted support around the ankle during high-intensity workouts.
FLITE XT is a medium cushion and moderate compression sock available in ZERO (no show) and FIVE (crew) cuff heights. The socks can be purchased at participating specialty retailers and at swiftwick.com.
