SCARPA N.A. hires Josh Kerns as Sales Operations Manager


Industry veteran will serve as hub between sales, operations and warehouse divisions, and also liaison with key accounts.

BOULDER, Colo. – Supporting continued brand growth across the hiking, ski, climbing and trail-running categories, SCARPA North America this month hired industry veteran Josh Kerns as its Sales Operations Manager. In this critical position, Kerns will act as a hub between the sales, operations, and warehouse divisions, oversee the customer service and direct sales teams, and be a liaison with key accounts.

 Prior to joining SCARPA, Kerns oversaw operations at Seattle-based Sherpa Adventure Gear. He also brings retail experience to the equation from the Seattle North Face retail store. In addition, Kerns and his family have owned and operated a ski lodge in the North Cascades town of Mazama, Wash. 

“Josh brings a great wealth of outdoor industry operations, sales and customer service experience with him,” says Mark Mathews, Sales Director for SCARPA North America. “We’re confident that under Josh’s leadership we will continue the great service our customers have come to expect and raise the bar on operational excellence. Kerns officially joined the SCARPA team starting last week.
